Pia offers bespoke and tailor-made creative workshops sessions across a range of different age ranges and audiences. A few examples are listed below. Please email Pia if you’d like to know more, and/or have a brief that you’d like Pia’s ideas on.

  • School visits – Book readings for school children and class assemblies based on specific titles from Pia’s Therapeutic Fairytales series, illustrated by artist and arts educator, Sarah Pimenta. These stories are especially written to help children explore how nature-connectedness can support our wellbeing when we are feeling loneliness and anxiety. She also designs creative wellbeing workshops for children, drawing upon her creative, educational manual, Rewilding Children’s Imaginations, co-written with Sarah Pimenta and children’s fiction writer/former teacher, Tamsin Cooke.

  • Inset days training on Creativity for Wellbeing– These are tailor-made experiential creative sessions especially designed for teachers who would like to build more confidence around creativity for wellbeing, and to learn new tools to support a range of creative writing, art making and mindfulness activities in class. Pia blends creative facilitation, guided visualisation and arts therapy techniques. These are not technical art or writing sessions, but designed to connect teachers to their own intuitive art making and creative writing skills, as needed. Pia draws upon a range of alternative arts media, such as postcards, textiles, folktales.

  • Staff wellbeing creativity sessions – These are bespoke group sessions that can answer specific organisational and team briefs. Given Pia’s previous career working in qualitative research, she is at home designing and facilitating workshops for a range of different audiences. As with the above inset training days, Pia draws upon a range of arts materials and creative techniques, to help people build confidence in their creativity in natural and gentle ways.
