In person workshops to inspire creative, reflective practice for Women Leaders, Therapists, Coaches, Facilitators, Creatives, Educators
“There were so many materials and objects at our disposal, (textiles, magazines etc). It was especially great to create with things that we could cut/disrupt… widening my understanding of creativity and what creative practice can be.”
Working with Myth as archetypal, creative tool
天照 Amaterasu – Saturday 20 June at 11am-4pm

At this time of the summer solstice, we’ll explore the Japanese myth of Ameratsu, Shinto goddess of the sun, universe and ‘shining light’, who plunges the world into darkness when she retreats into a cave, and must be tempted outside again.
- Experiential workshop exploring how to use myth as inner ear/guide
- Use myth to support your own ‘shining’ and sharing of creative potentials
- Learn how to use myth to activate inner resources/potentials
Explore how working with myth can deepen professional practice, offering clients insight into self-defeating patterns and activating inner resources and new potentials. Here’s a chance to experience myth as therapeutic container, support and catalyst for personal and professional transformation. This CPD workshop draws upon a mix of creative, reflective activities taken from myth, arts psychotherapy, archetypal/depth psychology and transpersonal approaches.
Weather permitting, we will work partially outside on a roof terrace, with panoramic views of London. Fees: £100. Includes creative materials, hot drinks, light snacks. CPD certificates and a reading list provided after the workshop.
“Pia gently holds and runs her workshops in an inspiring and beautiful space with an abundance of art materials . Her wealth of myth and story weaves its way through conversations. After attending her workshops I have always felt more connected, empowered and just better! I look forward to attending more.”
All CPD workshops take place in person at at Studio 34, which offers creative prompts and sensory art materials beyond the traditional. Groups contain a maximum of six participants.
