Testimonials from last seasonal Rewilding Imagination retreat held in winter.

The process felt very held and sacred…I’m taking away images and feelings – places that I discovered in my inner creative world that I did not expect. The images created and words are like talismans and good reminders that there are seams of creativity just waiting to be discovered and turned into precious nuggets.”

It was a rare treat – to be guided by an expert and be given space and time to work in a focussed way on rekindling and exploring creativity and finding or rediscovering/strengthening your own voiceA very enriching experience.”

“It was everything I hoped it would be and more. It was an oasis of calm and wonder in the midst of winter and the busyness of life. It was also so wonderful to create in what felt like a community, and create alongside others, sharing with them the experience and outcomes.”

1-DAY CREATIVE RETREAT – Spring Rewilding Imagination – for women professionals, 10am-4pm, on Saturday 18 May 2024

Treat yourself to a creative retreat rooted in the spring season to connect to your natural creative source and awaken your imaginative self. The long, light evenings offer an opportunity to awaken the senses and tune into both inner and outer nature, and themes of renewal and regeneration.

You may already be working in a creative industry, and/or feeling like you’ve lost connection with your innate creativity. You may feel like your imagination has been over-domesticated or over-harvested. Or perhaps, you harbour a wish to develop your own creative practice, and/or the inner critic may be stifling or getting in the way of attempts. Or you may simply want to bring more creativity and imaginative play into your life. There is no need to have any artistic skills or existing practice to take part in this series of creative retreats. However, please do bring an open-mind, your curiosity and a willingness to experiment…

Rewilding Imagination workshops are not technical art or writing sessions – you won’t learn to draw or write here – instead they offer a safe space that draws upon intuitive art-making, creative writing, guided imagery, myth, folktale and the season, to explore creativity without the focus being on honing product or skills. It’s an opportunity to engage with the free-flow process of natural creativity across multiple art forms, and to connect with your own creative source.

In the workshop, there will be space for creating, individual reflection and collective sharing. Retreats are designed to be both relaxing and restorative and offer an opportunity to meet a diverse group of fellow travellers of life and learning. Pia loves to see workshop participants surprise themselves.

Rewilding Imagination retreats are run in the beautiful and spacious, Studio 34, at Bickerton House in Archway, London. With spectacular views across London and a range of creative materials, Studio 34 has been purposely designed to offer participants a unique creative and therapeutic space. All arts materials are provided. However, please bring your own writing journal to capture personal learning. CPD certificates are also available on request.

Cost for the 1-day creative retreat is £120. Group numbers are limited to 6.
